Backbooth to the Future
September 25th, 2009Man, what a great show. This one was a lot more like a Scared Straight program filled with splinters of wood flying, animal remains, and rock n roll. If you missed this, then you may still be headed down a dangerous road, dear troubled teen.
All the bands played some great music, with Surfer Blood destroying the stage and No Circus leaving a single fret unscathed, but man, Poverty Branch. Those guys are not only dear friends but fantastic musicians, and it was so amazing to get to sing along to those songs again. Guys…keep working hard, for all of us. And a special thanks to Alexander from Florida Sur for doing a few tunes for us.
And to the masses, dear friends and countrymen, much obliged. Thanks for supporting us as we taught Backbooth a lesson. It still means so much to me and all the other guys to see you out there, and more importantly, having fun! We’ll have pictures from the show posted really soon on the site, so keep an eye out for those. Literally. Take your eye out and keep it there until there are photos online.
