Waterford Down, Deerfield In the Headlights, and Buffalo Graveyards
October 22nd, 2009I just finished playing “Buffalo Gun” on RockBand 2 (more on that later) and realized it’s been a bit longer than I planned to update the blog, but lots of good news to share, so take heed.
Beerfest at Waterford Lakes was a great success. Once again, a special thanks to OBP for being so delicious. Runner up in the Buffalo Gun Palate Pleaser category definitely went to Sierra Nevada’s “Kellerweis”. Wowzers. Oh, and did I mention that it happened to be on the hottest day ever? I’m so glad there were gallons of dehydrating beverages to consume. Good times.
Deerfield’s had it coming for a long time, and we’re about to put some stank on it. We’re co-headlining Island Water Sports’ Midnight Madness with Alexander on Friday night October 23rd. I have quite a few memories thanks to Island Water Sports (first surfboard and worst sunburn), so it’s time to return both tenfold. We’ll be playing at 8pm, and according to forecasts our extreme rock may have the same effect on waves as a full moon, so check the tide tables South Florida.
Our next show is Graveyard Slip n Slide 2, which promises to be the greatest Halloween event since Graveyard Slip n Slide 1. Buffalo Gun will be providing the rock, while you and the slide provide the roll. There will be blood.
