Ready, Aim, Flyer!!!
November 16th, 2009I’ve been too busy and handsome to update the blog recently, but it’s about time we talk. I’ve got your update right here…
If you didn’t see me at Anti-Pop Music Festival this week(end) you were not there. Clad with wristband rash and boot blisters, we mauled the festival. A gentle blend of local and national talent, the venues were well fed with acts. I got to check out Thomas Wynn and the Believers at the Plaza Theatre, Minus the Bear at Firestone, Six Dead Horses and Junior Bruce at Will’s Pub, and Rouse, The Beauvilles, and Vanda at Central Station, just to name a few. Four nights and one thousand fliers later, I think the festi-guests are ready for us to release this album.
We really can’t wait for you to get the tracks in your ears, so you’ll notice a couple more songs up on the player, including the title track from the EP. Bon appetit!
We also just officially added karaoke guru Dancin Jon Hanson to the lineup, which means it is now officially a party. Whilst we sip our goblets of OBP, you will be taking the Will’s Pub stage performing all your second-favorites (thank you).
We are so ready, and you’re ready enough. If you are over the age of eighteen and alive, we will see you this Friday at Will’s.
