Time To Break Some Boards At the Jacksonville Beach PBR Pro
December 4th, 2009To begin, I have to give credit where credit is due…to every single one of you that helped make the CD release a huge success. We are a band that does just about everything ourselves, but live shows are not something we can or want to do alone. The support from our friends and listeners made November 20th an unbelievable night, giving us the breath of fresh air we needed to kick things up a notch. Also, a great deal of gratitude goes out to Floodwork, Quinn and Jon Hanson for sharing the stage with the Gun.
We are especially grateful for the pre-show efforts the guys in Floodwork made. Those guys promoted the show like it was their own CD release, brought a great crowd out, and most importantly, put on a great show. I’m looking forward to future gigs with them and am proud to know such a hardworking act.
The Bad has officially infected Orlando and will be making it’s way to North Florida within a few weeks. Vestal Watches has invited Buffalo Gun to perform with The New Lows, Darkhorse Saloon, and Beau Crum as part of the after party for the PBR Pro Surf Competition on Jacksonville Beach. The show will be hosted at the Landshark Cafe and is sponsored by Pabst Blue Ribbon. Make sure to check the flyer and our shows section for all the info. I really don’t see this being less than amazing. Plus, to up the ante, Ben O’Rear will be playing guitar with us, which means I get a free onstage guitar lesson. Dag nab, he’s good. Oh yeah, and bring an unwrapped toy to win cool stuff and make a kid’s Christmas.
On a very related note, Buffalo Gun is officially pro-Christmas and pro-childrens.
