“Puppet Show and Spinal Tap”
September 20th, 2011From the mountains of Tennessee whilst enjoying a quick recovery week from nonstop rock n roll, Buffalo Gun was on my mind, dear to my heart and still eating my soul, and you and I need to be on the same (web)page. That was three weeks ago.
Despite what national security would like to believe, Buffalo Gun has never been more heavily armed and ready. Our alumni list has grown rapidly over the past years and I am very excited to call some wonderfully familiar faces to stages near you very soon. My pedal board has changed its lifestyle thanks to Doug the Pedal Guru (DCO = greatest overdrive pedal…EvEr! More on that later) and the Dr Z is still screaming for vengeance.
As I have stated before and must be quoted again saying…I LOVE being a musician in Orlando.
Stephen and I have both been spending most of our days and nights entertaining the masses at Epcot’s UK pavilion with British Revolution, a show spearheaded by Brother Entertainment. I absolutely love the show, am very proud to be a part of it and eat up every minute. We are fortunate to share the stage with two of Orlando’s finest: Eric Van Lugo of Social Ghost fame, and Kevin Nayme of Everyday Things. This opportunity has been keeping us going nonstop and full time since May, hence the halt. However, with Epcot’s Food and Wine festival at the end of this month, you have the absolute best excuse to come on by and check out the show. For more info, check out facebook.com/britrev.
That’s the skinny. Mark my words: Buffalo Gun makes me happier than a fat kid at a water park. I cannot wait to get this next album down. And I do really really REALLY appreciate all the recent comments regarding how much you all miss seeing the Gun live. I can’t wait to play your faces ugly.
And So Begins the Blogging Lifestyle Once Again…
